Yeah, I ordered one. If they give me any problems, I'll sue.
Thanks - I ordered one two... maybe I should order 10 or 100. |

I would get one, but I know how the conversation would go at home.
"What do you need a 3rd Coin Rolling machine for?" "So I can roll faster" "You already can't run all the machines you have at one time" But it's a real bargain honey, a $7300 machine for only a penny! "You really don't need it" |
If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

What do you want to bet their "prevailing rate" they adjust it to when they ship it is even higher than the retail rate of $7300? |

Yeah, I saw that, what they are doing is deceiving people. |

Yeah, I saw that, what they are doing is deceiving people.
No, what they are doing is adding an item to their online catalog without pricing information, so it defaults to $0.01. That's very common with shopping cart software and many inventory programs. I seriously doubt it was intentional. You'll probably get an email or phone call explaining the error and offering you the counter at the correct price. If they eat the mistake and send it to you for a penny, awesome find! But don't cross your fingers. This is exactly why catalogs and online stores alike have to have a disclaimer in the terms and conditions. They retain the right to adjust prices without notice just in case of errors like that. |

I agree in the fine print it will say that they are not responsible for mistakes or misprints. There is no way you will get that machine for a penny. Nice try though. |

| fob is a shipping term. means free on board. I believe it means the seller is paying for shipping to your destination port or even to your door. another term you sometimes see is fas, free along ship, which means the seller pays only to get it to the shipping station, not to transport it all the way to your location. |

Technically, it doesn't specify who pays for shipping. It specifies when title, and thus risk of loss, transfers from seller to buyer.
The usual variations are "FOB shipping point" (place of origin) and "FOB destination."
That said, people use the term in all sorts of fuzzy ways, so, if it's a $7K purchase, be careful. If it's $0.01... no worries. |

| true, but when used in context with the price it is understood to mean that the price quoted by the seller includes delivery to the place specified - port of seller or port of destination. fob alone is ambiguous but suggest they pay to take it to the freight station but you pay shipping. |

| Well they phoned me about my order. Machine was more like $7300 plus $10 shipping. I asked for info on some less expensive options. |

That is extremely reasonable on the shipping. That thing probabably tips the scale at 100 pounds. |

| She woke me up, as I'm on the west coast and had worked all night on a deadline. So I failed to ask all the really good questions. She was talking about a $1000 option - which might be worth it for me as i could dump faster with the right equipment. |
