Definitely a fan of customer wrapped rolls. Strange how they appear though. Some banks have none and just the Brink boxes. Yesterdays run was a great one though and strange to me as it is new. I made a penny pickup at some new branches I never visited before. A few rolls were all copper with dates primarily from the 60s. The coins looked aged with the patina of oxidation but not much in scratches. Almost like the person stored them for years and they were just getting rolled now. The weirdest one though is a roll of wheats from the 1940s with the rest being 1982s. Very strange. Not sure how that roll got that combo. One of the '82s has the obverse side very worn looking, almost like a very fine sanding smoothed off all the detail. The LIBERTY portion is not too much visibly worn though and it looks like there is some kind of malformation of the surface as it is not even like other pennies. The memorial side is near mint and the edges of the penny show no signs of abrasion. I'll hold on to it for the novelty. Another portion of pennies from another one of the CWRs has a four of them stamped with state stamps on the obverse side. The outline of the state is there with the symbol for it. The states are RI, WV, NJ and AZ. All are copper pennies, I think from the all copper rolls I mentioned above.
I think as the economy puts out the Bat-Signal, we will see the CWRs pile into banks more and more. If I am finding stuff that is weird/unusual, I am sure you guys have much more finds to made out there too.
