Yesterday I talked to the vault manager at a branch of one of my banks and I asked her if it would be OK to bring in $1000 to $1200 (maybe a little more) in pennies every week--and she said it was no problem, and that they have an automatic counting and wrapping machine. Talk about luck!! I'm open to any and every suggestion on what to do or not do in keeping this manager happy and help treat any zinc deficiencies at that branch.

Dinner and a Movie? Offer to wash her car? Bribes, gift cards, silver dollars? I have started to leave my card with Pennies and Nickels written on it at branches.

You are darn lucky - just haul in the bags, no need to count or roll. Withdraw money to buy more pennies. Repeat over and over,

While I'm waiting to find my first wild Indian Head, I bought a couple on eBay for a total of less than $4 so I can flash those to show tellers one thing I'm looking for (not the only thing, but maybe it'll get the point across).

I am putting together a nickel flip book (displays coins in clear plastic slots). Mix of old nickels (Canada and US) international coins etc to show tellers. Of course I'm really mining for .99 Ni, but the pleasure is in the cool old finds.

One young make teller today says "oh you are a metal collector - I understand - I collect silver" I gave him the name of the forum.

I could ask her if she'll marry me for my money, but what would she do with several tons of copper (eventually, anyway)?

I was going with romancing her first. Have you not heard? There is a lot less zinc dumps after marriage.

You can only marry one of your favorite tellers, but you can give chocolate to all of them. Compliments are even cheaper and not so messy.

A penny sorted is a penny earned!

I'm with Saul.
It's damned expensive to get married but you can't even afford divorce.

My wife would probably get really upset me to the point of seeing yellowed off if I proposed to any of them anyway...

Beer is my currency.

Negative on the marraige thing... Don't ruin a good thing...

Try to find out when her B-day is and send her a card.

A simple flower arrangement usually works. But be carefull, keep it professional, don't want her thinking you have romantic interests.

As others have mentioned, chocolate is always good.
