Buried in the bottom of an old box of coins, I found a sealed plastic holder containing an uncirculated 1940-D penny that says it's MS66 RD, from Numistrust Corporation. Anyone have any clue on what this is worth?

At least one cent....Hehe.

Deal

Live free or die.
Plain and simple.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your council or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

Last years issue of Coins mag has a 1940-D in MS-65 at $9.50 - It's likely worth a little more than that, but it won't pay your cable bill.

I'd be willing to trade for equal melt value of 90% silver if anyone's interested...
