I found a Brandt coin wrapper on Ebay and snapped it up for $800. It looks like it will cost another $400 for shipping. If it works, it's a bargain.

Looks like a pretty serious machine. Are you absolutely sure it wraps pennies? I see tubes for nickels, dimes, quarters and halves.. but no pennies.

When arranging for freight, shop around.. prices do vary. Also, if you can have it delivered to a place with a loading dock so they don't have to send it out on a truck with a lift gate it is usually about $100 cheaper. I had a 250 pound Mach 7 delivered from Illinois to CA for $165 last year.

I'm in Arizona. And yes, I know about the extra charge if they have to bring a lift to unload it, so I plan on just picking it up at the terminal. My brother and I can handle it ok. At 300 pounds I could almost load it myself, but really it's a two man job.

You're right. I looked closer and that is exactly what it says: nickels, dimes, quarters, and halves. Well, I knew there would be some sort of repair necessary. And it seems that Brandt went toes up in 1998, but De La Rue may have taken it over. So maybe I can find a penny tube and maybe I'll have to make one. I guess it would be cheaper and less trouble to make one.

Shipping is $317 to a loading dock, or $419 with the lift gate service. I'll go find a friend who has access to a dock. Or four friends who can lift it off the truck for free.

Saul, a friend of mine is a freight broker. He might be able to get you a better freight price. If you want me to talk to him PM me with weight and to/from zips.
