I would just like to see it hit $25 again before I die.

Well, then, don't die for at least another year.

Instead of thinking about silver priced in dollars, think about dollars priced in silver. Most important is to consider what your silver will buy at the time you are thinking about selling it. How many gallons of gas, or loaves of bread will a silver dime buy?

Conversion to FRNs to make a transaction may, and perhaps should, only be fleeting. Probably best to have no preconceptions about how much fiat is an acceptable trade for silver (or copper and nickle, for that matter).

True, because when the switch is thrown from stagflation to hyperinflation, they're going to continue to tell us that it's only stagflation. If every 2-bit rap star/cia spook/dorcom teenager has a million FRNs in stylish aluminum briefcases, you'll soon see stacks of them spent on loaves of bread. Last round, gentlemen, last call. Spend 'em if you've got 'em.

I'm thinking more and more it might be wise to transfer wholesale my fiat assets into metals and other valuable goods. I am begining to lean towards a belief that it is best to disconnect oneself from the system(money, government, commerce) as much as possible, and that those in power are up to no good and nothing can be put past them. I'm a bit of a conspiracy nut, so maybe I'm just looking for a conspiracy where there is none. At least 50% in metals seems wise regardless.

I came to that realization years ago - and I've seen my metals continue to preserve and grow my capital while others gambled their wealth away to suits in paper money numbers games.
