Art, don't you know thats the way fleabay works, the bigger the story you come up with the more your bags of "UN SEARCHED" wheats sell for.
If you say you just found your 90 year old Grandpa's bags of wheats that he saved from his gum ball machine route that he had back in the 30'S you are guaranteed to get over $300.00 per bag.
What I get a kick out of is that most of the time if you look at the feed back or the other items for sale on these people that are selling "UN SEARCHED" bags, they have all the better date wheats for sale individually. But as long as people keep falling for the old "UN SEARCHED" trick, everybody is going to keep the stories coming. And those that pay over $300.00 for a bag of common 40'S and 50'S I don't feel sorry for. |
COPPER - the "poormans" precious metal!!!
SELLING - $100.00 face copper shipped to you for $189.00 machine rolled or bagged - PM me if your interested. |

Just look at all the unsearch bags on ebay! No way all of those bags are unsearched. Someone has looked through 90% of them at least (maybe not the seller, but their supplier). I buy rolls every now and then if the price is decent (inc. shipping) I have only gotten one random roll that has had many pre 1940 pennies in it. Most are common dates post 1940. I figured that was what I was going to get so no biggie.

I suppose you found all those wheats in circulation while sorting down at the beach, right?
Didn't even invite me to come down for the beach sort.. and here I thought I was your buddy. |
If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.
Now selling Copper pennies. 1.6x plus shipping. Limited amounts available. |

That isn't a bad price, but if they are all common dates then that isn't so good.

A wise man said that there is no such thing as an unsearched coin.
How would the guy know they are wheat cents unless someone did at least a cursory search?
And despite that, I still love lots of foreign coins. They'll never make me rich, but what fun sorting and identifying them! |
