Theme music playing in the background.. *Happy Days are Here Again..*

It was not without some trepidation that I picked up 3 boxes yesterday from the bank that first gave me duds and 24 boxes from my regular bank that gave me an entire shipment of 24 dud boxes last month. I am extememely happy.. and believe me when I say "extremely happy" to report there was not a single dud box in either shipment. I weighed them all and they all came in around the 6700 gram weight. While this is not horgad level weights it is certainly normal for my area. I am just happy to get some copper. I actually put a little dent in the reserve stacks the last few weeks. I was afraid I was just going to have to stack them up in the zinc return pile and do a lot of zinc dumping this week. Now I actually have to sort them.

It was probably just one of c140cessna's dumps working its way through the system that hit us all so hard.

I proclaim it safe to go back in the banks again.

I was a little concerned because the majority of my banks are serviced by Brinks. Good thing I had a few boxes in reserve.

Good deal!
I tested the waters myself. Bought 1 Brinks box and it weighs 14.5 lbs.

That's great Tim.. you were getting way too many duds. I was feeling your pain.

I'm going to order maybe 10 boxes next week from my primary supply bank, just to make sure the new zincs aren't still being shipped.

Last week I ended up buying $900 from various banks in Oxford and Batesville, mostly customer rolls but a few older boxes with lot's of brown pennies showing.

I'm finished with all the customer rolled now and have 40 bank boxes awaiting my sorting attention, but alas I think I'm done for the day since I've got family obligations to attend to.

I will bag up the remainder of my zinc and have ~$400 to deposit tomorrow, and I have 4 canvass coin bags that I'll weigh out 50 lbs of copper into each one.

I'm not quite to 400 lbs of copper yet, but I'm close.

First ton, here I come!
