hi everyone! i got to go to the bank today since my mom had to do some business there. i asked for $10 in cents and they seemed happy to get rid of them. when i got home i searched them all and only found a 1944 wheat and a 1977 canadian cent. i did find 232 1959-1982 copper cents though. i also found a 1983 double die that i am going to have my coin dealer look at tomorrow. i was expecting more wheats and copper though, but i guess this will do for now.
It does seem a little light on the wheats, but the copper percentage is not bad at all. There are plenty of us here that would be quite pleased with 23.2% It is a very good start.
With wheats and indians it is kind of like metal detecting. Sometimes you get lucky. Sometimes you will have good days and sometimes you will have bad days.
If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.
