| I have been seeing marked half dollars from the fed. The last couple of boxes that I got had at least 4-5 in there. |

Found: '02 D. On reverse a "D" with a black Sharpie "07 D. On reverse a "E" with a black Sharpie Two different rolls in $20 CWR. Might be more, those are the ones that I saw opening the rolls quickly. Might just be a coincidence, not sure. Anybody mark any like this?

Not so much as you would notice.. I only ship out a little over 100 pounds a week.
Found a marked half dollar in a roll today. It was painted or inked green on the edge. Anybody marking their halves that way? |

| Found a zinc with a sharpie-marked "S" on the obverse. Today I found a zinc with the memorial colored (green or blue, I think). |

LOL.. that way I can keep the peace at home. She likes to see pennies going out. Amazingly even though I sold and shipped out about 2 tons last year the hoard continued to grow slightly. Wonder how that happened? |

Ok....let's do some math. 2 tons is 4,000 lb * 150 pennies per lb = 600,000 pennies ($6,000). At 1 cent profit per coin = $6,000. At 1/2 cent = $3,000. Equipment, supplies, gas, listing & Paypal fees, time.... Are you covering your costs? |

A lot of those were sold outside eBay, so there were no eBay or PayPal fees. Yes, covering the costs.. but certainly not getting rich from it.. just a little extra play money to fund a bad coin habit. |

Well I read this and it was only time and until I won the marked penny lottery.
I found a zinc penny that is painted yellow/gold on both sides. It is so thick you can't make out anything on the front or back. All I could make out is a 19.
Anyone wanna step to this crime on my penny hoard? lol |

wheatcent, please describe the penny you found with the T on it. What color was the T? Was in on the front or back of the penny? Where are you located? What was the source of where you got the penny?
I have placed quite a few with a Green T on front of them. |

I found a 1964D nickel in a sealed CWI box that had the initials "DDG" and "LAD" etched onto the obverse. The year "1972" was also etched on the coin between the set of initials. It looks like some young lovers were making their love permanent...lol
btw, I am in Southeast Michigan
