I need an extra Ryedale machine. What's your mailing address there in NW Missisippi?

I'll have to sign the slip and have the package left on the back porch tomorrow.

I'm in a good neighborhood, so this shouldn't be any problem in terms of theft.

And I can get my wife (who works literally 1 mile from our house) to go get it once I see it has been delivered (I work ~50 miles from our house. Wish me luck 'cause next week I should be interviewed for a new job in the town I live in, I would love to eliminate the commute and I'm tired of the work I now do anyway. Time for a change if possible).

You should be able to call them and have them change the delivery to your wife's office.

I'll have to hope they have a phone number on the delivery slip so I can call to pick it up tonight.

Otherwise I'll have to sign to have them leave it tomorrow.

Almost here....

I remember when I was waiting for mine. I checked the staus of the shipment and it was schedule to arrive on that day. So I said to myself would go to the bank to pick up some boxes, but if I saw a Fed-Ex truck, I would turn around and go home. So on my way, I saw a truck heading toward my house; I turned around and beat it home. I am sure you'll have loads of fun.

I had mine delivered right to my office so I wouldn't have to wait. Then it seemed I had to work late every night.. LOL. Finally had to cop to having it after she thought I was having an affair.

It's what real money is supposed to sound like :)

According to the FedEx tracking number the truck with my package is on the move again this morning.

The wife is at home this morning, so as long as they try to deliver at about the same time as yesterday it should be there in less than an hour.

I signed the delivery slip just in case she has to go out so it will be left this time one way or the other.

Oh and just for fun I wrapped $10 in zinc to pay for my gas this morning.

I'll hold off on posting until I have good news to report.

I'm sure all these updates are getting tiresome ;)

Wife has signed for the Ryedale, it's officially at my house!

But I'm stuck at work until 4:00 P.M. so I can't take off early for sorting.

Tomorrow though I'm off, and I'll pick up my second order of 50 boxes and have $2,500 to sort.

Yippee!

The earplugs I understand, but the Goop?

I wear disposable gloves while sorting pennies so if it's for the crud then ok

They can be quite nasty yes?

Since you don't have to go to work tomorrow you should be able to knock out about 40 or 50 boxes tonight. Make sure to have lots of buckets on hand to put all those coppers in.

Eagerly awaiting your first sorting report.

After all the hype, that thing better work right or I'll be on a flagpole somewhere in Mississippi.

Well knowing my luck the power will go out as soon as I get home.

heh.

But seriously, I've got something to do between 2:30 and 3:45 here at work and by 4:00 I'll be on the way home.

45 minutes to drive home, 15 minutes to see the little kids and such, then I'll be unpacking the box and setting the Ryedale up on the dining room table.

I'll let ya'll know when I have it plugged in :)

I've got 3 days in the pool for how long before William gets booted out of the dining room.

Have you got that puppy up and running yet, William?

Okey dokey one and all, the Ryedale is unboxed, unpacked (and what a wrap job of packaging too!), plugged in, sitting on the dining room table, and awaiting....

...my 9 year old son to get back inside.

As soon as I was opening the box one of his friends came over to see if he wanted to go outside and play, and I told him I would wait until he got back before I started sorting. He so wants to see this as you can imagine he's been waiting along with me for it to get here. But it's a beautiful day out and I told him he could go outside for an hour and I'd wait for him.

Gives me time to look at the pictures in the service paper and compare them with what I'm looking at on the machine. Also the penny bags and cartridge wraps arrived today as well so I'm about to get them unpacked. My living room is getting crowded what with boxes of pennies, bags of pennies, penny supplies, and now the Ryedale sitting on the table.

And I suppose I should pay a bit of attention to my 18 month old daughter sitting at my feet pulling on my leg to. Daddy is so distracted counting his money these days he doesn't have time for his young'ns!

Next post will be after I've sorted a few thousand coins, or broke it trying!

It's heeeere!

I remember my first time....

Deal

Live free or die.
Plain and simple.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your council or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

I didn't read the manual at first either. Real men don't read the instructions.. LOL. Actually there is some good info in the manual. You probably only really appreciated it after you have played with the machine a bit first though.

Hey, I am on the west coast so I may still be up sorting then myself. What do you want to bet that the wife cuts him off at midnight saying she can hear that clink-clink all the way at the other end of the house?
