Finally finished my first box.I opened 2 others and was sorting big bucket of pennies I had been saving for the last few yrs and kept putting finishing this one off. Here are my results 2,500 pennies 684 CU 17 Wheaties-1910 was the earliest 2 dimes- 2nd and 3rd last rolls 17 82's I'm going to put in their own jar. Right about 28% which I guess is pretty good Box came from loose rolls brought back to HSBC in WNY Derek P.S. I'm guessing my next box is 57% as it appears to be mostly canadian

Well my 2nd box wasn't as good as projected. 2500 1084 CU 8 wheats 1 dime 33 82's Good for about 44%. I will post the rest of my finds with everyone else now.Just wanted to update my last post with the results. Derek

Just curious...is there a reason to keep the 1982's? I only keep the ones that I have weighed and confirmed as being the 95% copper variety and the ones that are zinc go back to the bank with the rest of the zinc pennies.

Gotcha...I picked up a digital scale that weighs up to 150 grams to the tenth of a gram. The guy who normally sells supplies at coin shows had it for $20 and it was well worth it.
