I did my weekly bank run on saturday. Got about $200 in cents and ran most through my Ryedale on sunday. I open, spreadout and take a quick glance at everything before I do any electronic sorting.

I got a lot of old looking faded and worn wrappers. Some even had a preprinted date on them going back to the 1980's others had old style phone numbers preprinted on the paper. I had high hopes for those, but nothing out of the ordinary in any of them.

Then 3 ordinary wrapped rolls produced 3 full rolls of wheats Every roll had the same account number on it. I have no idea which bank I got them from or I would go back and clean out their vault of all rolls. Someone just wrapped up what they had and made a deposit.

I seperated by decade and 2 rolls were 40's & 50's In one full roll the oldest is 1909 to 1939, half were in the teens, but pretty worn.

total wheat take 210

Congrats on all the wheats, Dan! Just go back to every bank you hit on Saturday and look to match that account number. Sometimes the first few digits of an account # will clue you to what bank and branch it is from.

If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

Now selling Copper pennies. 1.6x plus shipping. Limited amounts available.

Sorry, I'm new to this, but do you usually ask for customer wrapped rolls? Whenever I get pennies from a bank they always give me the Brink boxes or Brink rolls.

When my wife got after me it sounded like "Blah,Blah,Blah", but now it sounds like "Clink,Clink,Clink". Its amazing what that Ryedale can do for a hounded husband.

M83, it is just my preference to ask that way. I feel I get a better mix. Eventually their customer wrapped rolls will get returned and poured into a large hopper and come back in a box. I just want to get first pick. I don't think any one has found 3 solid rolls of wheats in a brinks box.
