I had a Well's that was ordering me 1k in halves a week and a couple weeks into it they decided to start playing the "fee" game. They told me if I bought anything above $100 they would start charging me a fee for ordering halves.
Since then, I changed them into a dump bank and typically dump $2k in halves a week in bags.
Yesterday I had dumped $1k in halves and today I went in and dumped another $1k in halves.
The merchant teller is really nice but I think it was her manager that came up with the "fee" for the halves. She saw me dropping off the bags to another teller and told me she got my halves yesterday and really appreciated it. I thought saying "appreciate it" was kind of strange but she didnt say it in a sarcastic way. She asked me what I do with the halves and I told her I just take out the ones I collect and turn back in the ones I don't want.
She said they could start ordering them for me again but would have to charge me a "fee" I told her that doesn't make any sense since I have number of other banks order me halves for "free" as long as I don't bring them back to their branch.
She wanted to bring the manager over to discuss it but I told her that I had to get going but she could call me.
I'm figuring they are getting tired of all my dumps but maybe they would be willing to start ordering again without a fee.

Part of the issue also is I only have 3 banks I can dump my coins in bags and deposit and have the money available the same day. The other banks want them wrapped or B of A has to send the bag to the vaule before they will credit your account (which ties up money for 4 days)

Sounds like you might have a good situation there. I havent had issues dumping yet but Im still small scale. I onlt drop off two boxes per visit. My biggest problem is sourcing unsearched coins. I would turn a dump bank into a source bank in an instant.
