If it's a half av pound, it would be 7.29 troy ounces of 90% silver, with a melt value of $130.

If it's a half troy pound, it would be 6 troy ounces of 90% silver, with a melt value of $107.

Either way it is priced above spot, even after rebates.

The mix could also have war nickels, which would lower the melt value further.

IF sellers can't sell "junk silver" in the traditional ways. 90%, 40%, 35% etc and face value or qty, please stay away from them. This is a deciptful practice that should be avoided.

He's selling for $18.49 an ounce. But what is he selling? He could throw a ton of war nickels in... and there is a NO RETURN policy. Not such a deal, after all
