If I could order them, I really would. I would be able to make a lot even without silver.

If you could make a lot on Ikes, just buy them in large quantities from other members here and engage in arbitrage.

If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

Now selling Copper pennies. 1.6x plus shipping. Limited amounts available.

But if I did that, the shipping to get them to me would kill some profit. Still, that may be a good idea...

I've never been able to buy large quantities of Ike dollars at the bank.

Are they worth buying 3 or 4 at face at a time and holding on to them until you get a big stack of them?

I have not been able to order them but have found a few thousand to set aside. Very few have been silver. Customers cash them in and the tellers, not having a place for them, bag them and put them in their personal drawer. So many people ask for them, they are soon gone.

I will let you know what happens with this.

You've left us with a cliffhanger. So would she, could she, will she...ahhhhhhh, the suspense is killing us!

haha...sorry for the delay guys...just recently got engaged and things have been pretty crazy lately...just spoke with the teller today and the verdict is:

She can't order them :( only thing you can do is go branch to branch and pick up what they have.

thanks all! And yes, she is supportive of the sorting MOST of the time....she enjoys sorting the good boxes of halves, but I've yet to convince her Dimes are worth her while.
