I got $16 in pennies from the bank today, and among the usual kind of wrappers from this bank I got some of the old red solid wrappers. I went through those quick just now and of the first two I got 33 and 36 cu and the newest penny in them was from 1986. Then the next roll I got 27 cu newest being 1990, and the 4th one I got 35 cu with the newest penny in that being 1987. so overall from the 4 rolls I got 131 pennies to make a percent of 65.5% Now we can only hope the rest of the rolls can keep this up, my normal percentage is around 30%.

love those red pennie wraps...one day it will happen..you get a bunch of red wrapped rolls that are taped closed...and when you dump those out there are 58 cents or a bunch of dimes with one or two zincers....now those are great rolls!
Hasn't happened again in a while but I keep my hopes up |

| My bank does not accept CWR.... They make you run all coins through their coin sorter/counter your self and bring them the read out for payment. They just will not accept any rolled coinage anymore.... |

I am sure they are, thats why I asked for them, but, they said they no longer allow CWR due to people putting things like washers, other types of metals, etc. in the rolls.... someone bad is always messing things up for the good ones.. |
