story time kiddies
doing my sat. morning rounds. as i walk into the grocery store, the chase manager is at teh entry giving things away to kids.
she sees me, and says,,,,,,, i have something for you.
80 in ikes.
cool.
then i get her nickels. go out to the truck and open them. wowowowoowowow. rolls of pre 60...... even a couple silvers .
so i go back in , and tell her. she tells me. a little old lady brought them in , last week, after rolling the recently deceased husbands 'change'.
you all know the next part. . i ask, 'do you have any more she brought in"????
75 in dimes......... yielded, a 1960 and 63.
150 in quarters. i open one roll while standing there...... and see a 1949. i got goose bumps. turned out there were a total of three.
so i got to the ikes. having dreams of peace and morgans....... nope. |

Too bad you didn't hit paydirt with some rolls of 90% halves also.
I'll put the dimes and quarters into your stats. I need more info on the nicks.

Just split them in half I guess, I checked for enders and didnt put them back into each box after I checked. Both boxes had silver in the, just not sure of the numbers for each. Not used to boxes these days with all my bags... |

This will be my last report for a while. I canceled my weekly half dollar order. Other things are keeping me busy these days, and I haven't been getting phenomenal boxes like I used to. Maybe I will pick it up again later when there are a bunch of fresh boxes filled with coins turned in by customers at the top of the pile. Country, thanks again for all the hard work keeping such excellent stats.

Both are firsts for me!! Nice to get my first 2010 NIFC and my first silver proof both out of the same box!! The silver proof was in the 4th roll I opened.  |

| NY State, one $500 box of halves yielded a single 1967 JFK 40% half. This is my first silver find however from sorting halves and I am pleased as punch! |
