HIGHLIGHTS OF July's SILVER SEARCHING:
July was less productive than June: 55% of half boxes were SKUNKs and only 949 SILVER halves were found. July 2010 SILVER half production was the lowest of any month this year. $110,003.50 halves were searched to find them, similar to June, but the SILVER halves produced were only 80% of what June produced. About 4 SILVER halves per box on average were found. Could it be that the SILVER well is beginning to run dry? Dime sorting seems to be becoming more popular, and 227 SILVER dimes were found in July.
On the leadership boards: UDEric found the most SILVER halves again (256) and AGCoinHunter who had the lead was edged out with 241 SILVER halves. Like last month rakattack found the most SILVER dimes (53) beating cecropia_moth who had 37; and zerocd (25) beat brian0918 (17) in War Nicks.

It's important to post your SKUNKS as well as your great SILVER finds. That keeps the statistics honest. I'll try to post some graphs of our SILVER finds as 2010 proceeds along by adding data to this initial post. I'll see if I can post some interesting insights into the data here in this initial post for 2010 too. Even though this is a national tabulation of all our finds, I think its fun to know what finds are being made and at what frequentcy.
It might be interesting to see how many Barbers, Walkers, Franklins, and 90% Kennedys are found too. Also, how many Barbers and Mercurys dimes we find. I'll try to keep track of all of these.

I think I'm gonna go buy some lottery tickets tonight, I hit the mother vein today. $60 CWR halves... I pulled 7 90% and 56 40% for a total of 63 silvers!
Picked up $230 in customer rolls at a bank that rarely produces for me. I havent had a chance to finish all the rolls but so far with about 1/2 them open I have found:

Was not as many in there as I had orginally counted but 89 sure is a nice way to start off the month. The silver was concentrated in 5 rolls which all had the same wrapper. The rest were someones dump. Anywho I will take it. Here is a pic for your viewing pleasure...

Silver dimes found - one -- 1/1964 2009 dimes found - seven -- 7/2009P Other found - two -- 2/2010P US Dimes -- These are still pretty scarce in my area. OTHER: Three 2009D Dimes received from a Realcent member/sent something in trade in return. These are the first and only 2009 D Mint Mark Dimes I have in the kids' anniversary coin jar.
