Well i'm at my limit for copper again so i'm going back to hunting for silver again.

I think when i stopped about 6 months back i was nursing my broken ego for this hobby around a 10-15 box skunk record. By far one of my best dry runs of all time.

I'm starting small nothing big just a couple boxes of half's and couple hundred in dimes this week.

Let's hope for some luck.

I wish I could get halves but I can't right now so I search nickels. I find about one per 200 dollars I look at.

I'm on summer break and I sure needed it. Getting burned out doing $8500+ every week.

I did sack away some metal though and recently charted it all.

That made me ready for shorter days and long cold nights of searching fun.

I will stay on break to recharge. I still raid all the foreign (non-US) coins from the counter magnets and have some recent large hauls.

I can pick up 150 coins in a day without breaking a sweat.

Still, to get my rest, I only do that a couple days a week.

I have an amazing non-US coin pile and I can pick a jar from any country and have a ball checking it out.

depending on the machine they may still be up at the loading area. Others may pool at the reject area or people will just leave them around the machine because they aren't going through.

I generally pick up 4 boxes every other week. I told myself a couple of years ago if I got skunked 3 pickups in a row I would quit. I am still picking up my boxes. Sometimes I may only get one 40% out of the four boxes, but it is still technically not a skunk, so my skunk counter gets reset. There have been a few times that I got skunked two pick ups in a row, then the next pick up would have a few 40% in them.

Yeah I pick up between 2 and 6 boxes on good weeks. And i've been skunked 3 weeks running searching 6 boxes each week this year. And i believe more than once this has happened.

It's not easy to rationalize why I do this when I don't even find a proof half.
