I found a 1987 D kennedy half today; it is kind of scratched up. I know they have a low mintage but is it worth holding onto? I thought I saw a thread once saying that they were worth holding onto.

I personally would but some here say don't bother. I guess if it's scratched up maybe not, but I would keep all good-looking 87's (If I ever found any).

I hold them even if they aren't that pretty. The 1987 halves were a very low mintage year. Also it's 50 cents, and you can't say you find these all the time.

It may not be worth much over face, but it's not going to really set you back much either. Holding it, is my advice to you.

Selling Copper cents. $0 FV available at 1.4xFV. Also interested in trading for wheat pennies and other coins Please pm me for requests or inquiries.
