I have never been a big believer in technical 'rules'. It is ALWAYS more complicated than cycles and trends can predict. |

| oh, and according to his predictions, it would seem his 'young science' isn't going to get much of an opportunity to 'mature' before things go to pot. |

| He lost all credibility the moment he recommended cash as a safe haven. How does he disregard the fact that the main players propping up the stock market are also the folks printing the money? |

I like the critic's response: "I don’t want to agree with him, because if he’s right, we've basically got to go to the mountains with a gun and some soup cans, because it’s all over."
Ahh yes, because one's hopes should be factored into any forecast of the future. |

It seems like whatever happens: DOW 1000 or DOW 100,000, It's irrelevant because the number that we use to assign value to our "stuff" is nebulous. The USD has no value except what people think it's worth (because it is really worthless). It's a change in the way we should consider what wealth is.
The only wealth we are assigned here on Earth is time. I'm just trying to make the best of it.
Economic reality is a series of trade-offs. An individual's time is the only finite resource, therefore it has the highest value. All things are indexed related to our time.
That's the way I see it. |

| This reminds me of a local radio talk show hosts who can see the problems we face but not the answers to them. |

This is the real reason I have been investing, trying to amass wealth... so that at some point I'll have "enough" that I can quit working and enjoy the time off spending it... instead of spending all my time earning it at work.

I don't agree with the idea of being in cash, but he meant limit exposure to stocks, and his safety is cash.Just read PM's and ample food supply for cash! It's almost automatic for me now. "cash and cash equivalents, like Treasury bills" he could turn out to be right on the markets and be blind to the currency crisis. Is it just another Henny Penny sky is falling article?Or does he see something in his research that he seems to need to tell people about? Only time will tell. I'm getting to the point that I don't know what to believe as far as what the media reports.I just try to read alot and I usually can find some truth after seeing what is not being directly addressed,if that makes any sense I do value the opinions that we share on this forum with each other. |

I know what you mean PennyPauper.
you can be so misguided by one or two articles. You can see a lot better, and sense out the BS when you read up on things. |
