I went to one of my pick up banks today where I buy pennies and nickels. I asked the merchant teller if she had any halves and she told me no. She had to excuse herself to go to the bathroom.
I went down and asked one of the other tellers if she had any halves and she said she had $18 worth. When I looked down at her tray, I could tell that the top one was not a JFK half.
She sold me tthat she had $18 and I bought all of them; when I looked through them one was a 1960 Franklin half and another one was a 1968 D JFK 40% half. The rest were all post 1970.

Yeah mine are just trickling in haha I found a '64 from a pick up today. I just stop in at one of the banks as I am doing errands and ask them if they have halves.
