So i order from banks that bring Brinks & N.F.String boxes. Lately i've been noticing some boxes of each having rolls that are clearly short. It's not something one would expect to see often, but when i brought the short rolls (still wrapped) to the banks the manager said there was nothing they could do.
I left feeling the costs here are minimal, and will continue to order from my banks as needed. Just wanted to see if this is happening to anyone else.
Also, and this is far less common. I came across a handful of boxes where the rolls were different lengths. It looked as though half the box (~5boxes) was short 2-3 cents per roll. I was pretty upset but again what could i do... Anyways it turned out the rolls that looked short all contained 50 coins (after randomly seaching 4 short rolls). Odd right? Anyways the long rolls ended up being pure or close to pure coppers. And to make things even better they were largely BU or AU cents and for these boxes the wheat % sky rocketed.
Again it all seems to level off in the end. But that's the first time i've seen both of the above events:
large amounts of rolls containing fewer than the expected number of coins and large amounts of purely copper rolls

I had a String box of Halves that had a Quarter in 3 of the rolls last week. 20 coins in each roll, just one was smaller and worth less. First time for me that has happened. |

Sure enough. My girlfriend and I were just talking about that the other day....
