On a whim, between switching parks for metal detecting, I decided to stop by a small bank branch that's open on Sundays. I used to have an account at this bank, but closed it a while ago. They have never asked me if I have an account there, they just take the cash and give you your boxes... . I have gotten some REALLY good boxes from this branch in the past, and today would prove to be no exception....first up was a sealed full NF String box of new bu '10P shield cents....next, the nickel box that yielded a beautiful full date '36S buffalo (my first in over a year!!), 3 Canadians (1 of which was a .999 Ni '64), 1 war ('45D), and my first ever '09 nickel, a well circulated and slightly dinged '09P (I'll take it anyway)!! All in all, a decent haul, no? Oh yeah, I'm taking advice on what to do w/ the bu '10P shield cents.....

| IT is always nice to get such a cool mix in one box of nickels! That is why I love nickels so much! |

| Great score there, lots of treats in that box! I would sell or trade that box of shields now, the demand will continue to decline. |

| I agree with jacer333, sell them now while there is still a demand for them. Everyday that passes the system spits out more of these. |

GREAT!! I got a beautiful silver ring (stamped .925) with a nice turquoise stone in it. One of the other detectorists, however, found a xf 1893 Barber quarter at only about 4 1/2 inches deep . He was detecting less than 4 feet away from where I was detecting when he found it |

Man, that's gotta be disappointing for you Did you get to examine the quarter? Was it pitted or in good shape? |
Hoard now and hold on!
