Hi all. I got a sealed NF String box of all bu '10P shield cents today @ the bank. I need advice regarding what to do with 'em. Do I return the box to my main bank to exchange for a box w/ circulated coins in the hopes of finding lots of wheaties or maybe even a wild indian? Or do I hold on to the box to try to sell it later? Any advice is appreciated. I was actually disappointed on seeing they were all new bu cents (I wanted circulated coins to search for wheats and indians).

| Sell 'em! They are selling for 99.99 + $12 postage on EBAY. If you're not an EBAY seller, partner with someone here on RealCent. |

| I think you guys are WAY off....I'm looking @ eBay auctions now for sealed boxes of '10P shield cents. There are 3 available so far that I've seen with one ending in just under 2 days, and the price is only at $43.33 (5 bids so far). Another auction is ending in 22 hours; seller is asking $49 with NO bids so far....A third auction has just under 4 days left on it (3 days 22 hours), and has 1 bid @ $24 even. I'm going to see if there are any more than these three....lots of ppl selling individual rolls, but there doesn't seem to be a huge market for the boxes, and the few that are listed apparently will sell for a minimal amount over face (with the sellers actually losing $$ after eBay fees and shipping costs....). |

Ok, Just checked out the completed auctions. For the period May 30th to June 14th, there were 14 boxes that sold, and 3 that didn't. Excluding the 3 boxes that didn't sell, the average/median sale price of a 2010P bu sealed box was $52.96; the highest sale price was $57.78, and the lowest was $30.29. |

A couple weeks ago, you could get $100 for a box of these. Looking at the most recent sales, getting $55 would be good.
I would do a BUY-IT-NOW for these on EBAY. Ask for $59.95+postage. It's probably too late to make quick money on these. |

Country- I listed the box last night with a starting price of $43, and a buy it now option of $54.95....no bids so far....auction ends in 6 1/2 days, so we'll see. If I don't get any bidders, I'll try re-listing it as a straight buy it now. If that doesn't work, I might just ask face to get my $$ back.... |
