Beauanderos: Many thanks for all the posts you have made in the past regarding your e-bay experiences. I have put your knowledge to good use in picking up junk silver at or below spot durning the recent drops (including shipping). Mind you all, easily < 5% of my bids are good but rewarding if one is willing to wait.
Interesting are the premiums some are willing to pay for the same. Especially the rosie dimes. My best bids have been with several rolls of washington quarters.
It's a jungle out there,

JB... glad it's working out for you... patience pays off. I will sometimes put in a hundred bids at a time; maybe only one or two of them wins... but you get a good price if you do. Persistence will be rewarded. Check out Powersnipe.com Also, try silver as the field entry. The offerings come up fast and furiously, but it will include everything you can imagine. Sometimes you can get a good price this way.
As long as I'm patient, and don't get caught up in a last second bidding war, I'm getting some decent deals at or near spot. As a collector in addition to being a hoarder, I'll go a bit more on low mintage issues etc.
