No, I'm not talking about avocado vs french onion I have plenty of 90% already, what I don't have is fractional .999 silver. Another thread in here the other day mentioned diversifying one's silver holdings, so I think I'll use this pullback to start accumulating some fractional. This is the one I'm considering, but I'm gonna wait until tomorrow so I can mail a certified check with the purchase and avoid their 3% Paypal surcharge. CPTindy, thanks for the link You must be logged in to see this link.

i am not a fan of bullion below 1 ounce or above 1 ounce. the premiums on the former are too high and the liquidity on the latter is less.
if you want fractional, 90% is your best bet imho. |
Buying: Peace/Morgan G+ at $15.00 copper cents at 1.3X wheat pennies at 3X

I see silver going up several multiples from where it now is. When reasonably priced premiums are attached to future mintings of quarter ounce and tenth ounce rounds I will accumulate those as well (on dips). There may be occasions where .999 has enhanced liquidity over 90%. I already have enough eagles, I have more than enough 90%. So this is just filling in some diversification "holes" I still like silver by far the best of the four PM's for its current accessability. It won't be this cheap for long |

| i like fractional gold because gold is so expensive. but i don't like paying premiums for fractional silver since the premium for a fractional round is usually a lot more than the premium for a full ounce round. to the extent i want fractional silver, i buy zero-premium 90%. I would rather invest in silver than in a fractional premium. stated differently, you can get more ounces for the same money if you buy in full ounces. |

You're right, LT I guess I'm just bored of 90%, after amassing it since 2003. Enough is enough. I want some variety, and am willing to pay a slight premium for it. I even have dupes/trips of almost every Franklin Mint set. Yeah, yeah, they're only sterling, but if you don't overpay (for 92.5% silver) some of them are really cool. On the Franklins, when I was picking them up... you could acquire them for fifty to sixty percent of melt at the time |
