Sooo.. I am VERY new to coin collecting/sorting/etc.
I have been checking all of the coins I receive in change and pick up coins I see on the ground. For three weeks I never found any silver coins. I have come close a few times, I received a few 1965 quarters and some 62-65 nickels in change. Close but no cigar. I was at my dads house over the weekend and he has a late model clothes dryer. I did some laundry and while I was pulling out my clothes from the dryer, I saw a dime nestled in a crack by the filter. I picked it out and realized it was a 1958 rosie! I could not believe it! My first silver came out of my dads out dryer. Thought I'd share!

| Welcome to the forum. Finding coins is like the Whitman's chocolate samplers in which they forgot to give you a map to the "good" chocolates and to quote good ole Forrest, you never know what you're going to get. Keep looking for them coins. They could show up anywhere! |
