For the veterans here who have been scrapping for some time. What is the general seasonal price cycle ups and downs you have seen? Up in winter and spring, down in summer and fall? or? Is there a seasonal cycle. If so, I will continue to collect tin and just store it on my property until the price goes up, that way I can have take several trailers full in. If there is not a cycle, I will just continue doing what I am doing. I just wondering as I noticed a fall in prices lately.

Prices are falling. Oct 09 I got .05 a pound for steel. Jan .065, Feb .06, Mar .075, Apr .085 and so far in May .07 If you had the room you could hold on to the steel for better prices but I would just turn it in as you get a truck or trailer full.
