Yeah Job, think you are right. I don't get it, I think most of the US coins are boring looking, some person looking left, or maybe........a person looking RIGHT! Guess people prefer that.

The mexican coin has more of an artistic quality IMO, the pyramid, mountains in the background, cactus in the foreground, 3 dimensional view, liberty cap thingie with the rays piercing out from behind the denomination. And of course I prefer the eagle and snake, just so cool!

Probably my favorite coin design, at least on a circulated coin, not a proof or bullion one that "happens" to have face value even though it was never intended to be spent.

MOVING SALE!!! Selling Copper Cents 1.4 shipped - in limited quantities PM me and we'll talk.

Is it just me, or does 'liberty/Barber' have a bit of his smile on his face now after winning the first round?

I don't get this one. I will take Alexander the Great or that nice German coin over a generic American coin any day.

And he that hath lyberte ought to kepe hit wel / For nothyng is better than lyberte / For lyberte shold not be wel sold for alle the gold and syluer of all the world.

The Barber is nice, but the German coin has depth perception:

And he that hath lyberte ought to kepe hit wel / For nothyng is better than lyberte / For lyberte shold not be wel sold for alle the gold and syluer of all the world.
