Haven't bought cents in the last 2 weeks,
But before that I got 5 and nearly 1/2 boxes of solid Shields. |

Wheeler Dealer, thanks for the reply. I'll take a closer look, but I didn't see any mint marks. I am open to trades or just selling them outright. I used to work at the bank so I have a really good relationship with them and I will check to see if they have more of the new cents.
I will make a few additional posts so I will have the ability to pm.

| I just had a co-worker call me over today to his office. He said he had heard I collect pennies. He had in his hand 4 shields that he had just gotten in change and asked if I wanted them. All nice and shiny. I work in Chester, PA. |

Saw one at the coin dealer!
But on a positive note, the copper percentage is still around 30. |

I'm in Florida. I haven't seen any in the wild yet. I did buy 4 boxes of them from the U.S. Mint website. They put 2 rolls in a box and charge $8.95 per box. Only 9X face. Not exactly a bargain but kind of neat.

Isn't it strange you can find more total boxes of either full BU rolls of 2010s or dirty BU rolls?
I didn't find one box of full BUs or dirty BU rolls of 2009's but it seems to be different with the 2010s |

| They are popping up all over Baton Rouge right now. Had three cash transactions at stores yesterday and received bright, shiny ones at each of them. Also had a co-worker come in to tell me he had a really cool penny to give me. I expected him to pull out a shield cent, but instead he gave me a 1918-D Wheatie in strong Fine condition and would not let me pay him for it. |

| I wanted the eagle design for the new cent, but even though I haven't seen one in real life, the design looks cool as a coin. I have found ZERO 2010s and only a few LP-4's. It's weird that alot of you are getting annoyed about there being way to many, and I haven't found a single one. Oh well, with 30-35% coppers and about .7% wheats I can't really complain. It'd just be nice to get a few. In a few months, I'll probably be eating my words because there will probably be a deluge of 'em. |
