After learning how to use Excel yesterday I made two spreadsheets to help track copper percentages. The first spreadsheet calculates % per box based on three user inputs (# of pre-1981, 1982, wheat) PER ROLL. The second calculates % based on four user inputs (# of pennies searched, pre-1981, 1982, wheat). If anyone is interested I would be happy to send it to them. I can also change the inputs.

Excel spreadsheets are nice. You should see the spreadsheets I maintain to keep track of the SILVER finds for RealCent.

Yeah, Excel can be an incredibly useful piece of software. I've been keeping up with a spreadsheet to track my finds ever since I started coin roll hunting 2 years ago, so it's packed with data for me to geek over by now! I even came up with a formula to estimate copper output based on the weight of the unopened box, so if it's light on copper I can just take it back unopened. I'd be happy to share the specifics of my spreadsheet later if I'm at my PC.

Out of curiosity, you mentioned entering data per roll - do you hand count the data you enter, or is it by weight? All of my numbers are calculated based on weight, so there's a degree of error involved. My numbers don't account for coins that are worn, covered in a foreign substance, or boxes which may have dimes or a few more/less pennies than the expected 2500.
