What could I expect a dealer to pay? the pieces are from a server set (creamer, pitcher, etc...) they're silver hallmarked
IMO if you talk to 5 local guys you'll get 5 different offers ranging from 40-80% of the actual silver weight. I personally buy sterling anytime I can score it for roughly 90%, at most, or less than spot. Btw are you 100% certain what all of the hallmarks mean? Keep in mind that even some plated items have hallmarks.
