I heard a funny sound clining around in the zinc pile tonight and was thinking ahh probably another steel canadian or something to that extent. I start digging around to find it and bam I almost crapped myself right there in the recliner. Scotty finally found my first Indian. A 1866, what a year to pick for my very first Indian ever. Its an ulgy one, but I might just frame it. I was really beginning to doubt myself after two years of back breaking searches to no avail. Whew, on to my next one now, maybe it won't take me nearly 500,000 cents to find it? I rarely get excited over this stuff but this one has me grinning!!

Scotty

Well he is in Texas. According to TenBears there are no wild Indians.. especially in Texas.

Congrats Scotty! That's a great year to find for your first one. Later this week you should be sighting a chupakabra.

If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

Now selling Copper pennies. 1.6x plus shipping. Limited amounts available.

Congrats on the find, I think now that you have depleted your other Indian tribe you got rid of some bad mojo. If you can shoot the chupakabra you can mount that and put it next to the IH.

Selling Copper cents. $0 FV available at 1.4xFV. Also interested in trading for wheat pennies and other coins Please pm me for requests or inquiries.

Keep sorting! Congrats. I have only found 1 IHP in the wild. Two if you count the one I found when I was 13 back in '72.

I think that between you and Tim there is good reason that I'm only getting 16% copper.

Oh there is more than just Tim and myself in the area or so I have heard in the past. I have came across some skunks before in the past, but if you are getting a fairly decent supply bank(s) you should be getting between 19-20% on average. This is what Tim and I recieve on a consistent basis anyways.

Congrats! Still waiting for my first Indian. If a guy were to do a rain dance, would not only pennies from heaven possibly drop from the sky but also a few Indians? Just wondering.

Way to go Scotty, finding a wild Indian is one of the most satisfying things I have encountered while sorting pennies!
