Every time I visit the bank I am always asking to see if they have any half dollars and usually the answer is always the same, No.
Well today at the drive thru the teller asked the other teller before I even had a chance to ask. She told me she had $33 in halves if I was interested. As she was dropping the $3.00 in the envelope I heard the familiar silver ring and just smiled:

| Way to go. I wonder how she accumulated that big of a percentage of silver. I am lucky to find 4 - 6 40%ers in a $500.00 box, and that is usually a good box. |

Nice score, John!  I asked my penny pickup bank today if I could get a standing order for $2000 a week in halves and they looked bewildered, started stammering "I don't know if they have that in the vault?" I told em to find out and order what they could... I want to have fun chasing skunks and a few hits like you guys do  |

| Be careful when asking for halves from the bank that you order pennies from. I did that and about a month after they started ordering the halves for me they cut me off altogether. |
