What do you mean by "been paying". Replies from craiglist posts, or do you run a store where you buy from walkins, or anything like that? Just curious what sales medium brings that price.

I also would like to know where to buy wheats for 1.5 cents? Around here you very seldom find any for under 4 cents.

I've been lucky to buy at 1.5 - 2.5. Anything higher and i drop out of the running. I've found all mine through CraigsList. One score was for $30 face 1909vdb - 1959, and a majority of the 40's and 50's were BU. So it's a coin toss on quality at this price.

Selling Copper cents. $0 FV available at 1.4xFV. Also interested in trading for wheat pennies and other coins Please pm me for requests or inquiries.

Shoot me a price for steel cents, I don't need uber nice ones, but at least easily readable and not super ugly.

What kind of add do you post on Craigslist, and do you do mail or only ones you can see in person first? Pay first or mail first? Just curious how it works, I have thought of using craigslist but havent yet.

Well I was just wondering what you were offering the people off of Craigslist. I had a lady email me wanting to sell some Steel cents.

That sounds like Fleabay prices. I have watched a couple of the common wheat auctions on Fleabay and folks are handing these guys money hand over fist. In fact I saw one auction go for common wheats 9.95 a roll with another 4.95 for shipping. Nearly 20 cents per wheatie not even counting shipping costs. What in the world???????

Well things are worth what people are willing to pay. I see the lots of random mix wheats on ebay, say 2500 or so coins, go for 7-9 cents each almost daily. Too rich for my blood. I would pay 4 cents per on the right looking lot, in fact I have and it comes out ok at the price. But over 4 cents per I really dont get.

The lot i bought of $30 wheats included 3 rolls of BU steelies! Though i didn't know this until i looked through the rolls later that day. so i was able to buy 3 rolls at 2 cents a coin. Typically they go on CraigsList for over $10 a roll.

I haven't been paying any attention as to what wheats are going for on Feebay for several months. Looks like maybe I should try to sell a few rolls again.
