I know this is the penny forum, but wanted to post this. I had an hour to kill this morning so my 7 year old and I stopped at my wife's uncles house and we went hunting for arrow heads.
He (uncle) found 4 and I found two. My sone brought back about 2 pounds of asssorted rocks. This brings my grand total to 3 for my livetime!! I know that this is sacreligeous, but I have to say it was more fun than finding an indian head penny

Wow, knibloe! You really have 3 lbs of assorted rocks? Way to go What part of the country are you finding the arrowheads, btw?
Me and my family once had the second largest arrowhead collection in Texas and still own a dozen Indian skeletons that are in museums from University of Texas to the Smithsonian. I was raised hunting arrowheads however after selling 90% of the collection my family and I don't hunt much anymore, but its great to here some people still are.
