when i sort ,i place 40s into one cointainer, 50s into another, 1969 another. 60's, and 05 buffs also.
then after i do 100.00 i sort the old ones into 1939, 40-41, 42, 46-49, 50-55, 56-59.
so anyway. i dont pay a lot of attention while doing the intial sort. see that is a 50s and plop it into the roll.
so, i got a surprise when i found out it was 'the one we all want to find''.
it is my second.
yeahhhhhhhhh.

Congrats on your second 1950 D!!! I know how excited I was when I found my first one.
I hope you are also sorting and saving the 1938s as a couple of those mint marks are also considered key/semi-key dates.

That is the only one I have not found yet. I knew I should have grabbed nickels instead of pennies when I was in Phoenix a couple of weeks ago.  |
