Asking for a little help here.

I'm no expert on error coins but in the 3rd roll of a box I'm sorting, I found what "looks like" a 1999-P RPM error with the secondary P north (mostly) & west of the primary P. Anyone familiar with ths error?

My Cherry Pickers Guide only goes up to the 1968-S Proof RPM error.
So not being able to reference, I'm second guessing what my eyes see and am hopeing someone out there knows of this error.

I found a pic (not mine). This is exactly what it looks like, at You must be logged in to see this link.

Checking for reverse errors.

Thanks in advance for your feedback,

be SURE it is a repunched mintmark, I've seen Zincs that have the appearance of RPMs and it is just a tear in the copper plating.

Edit: Thought this was a copper coin.

Keep in mind that the most recent publishing (2009) of many "Cherrypicker" type books only display errors up to 2000.

Your "error" could be an error. Don't lose hope! Another good resource for coin error information is You must be logged in to see this link.

Wolvesdad: I wasn't looking for it either but, I was scorting the nickels with my visor lens and it just sort of jumped out at me as I do look for the S mint proofs.
