Late at getting this posted but have a few minutes to catch up some things. Sold the following on 7-2-09 in Wayne county NC 20 pounds of aluminum wheels $10 90 pounds #2 copper $171 100 pounds scrap aluminum $30 4 batteries at $20 5 batteries at $21.25 323 pounds of batteries at $38.75 TOTAL $291 |

2240 lbs. Sheet Iron (mostly old woven wire fence) $92.59.
Sheet metal has jumped from $40/ton to $85/ton the last month. Guy that runs the yard said prices should come up more the next 2-3 months. Cans: $0.32. #1 copper: $1.85. |

Nice Pic! It could go replace the logo on the left side of the screen! My last 2 trips that I posted about were scrap aluminum from a chicken n waffle stand that covered a catering wagon. I tried to do the pictures but had trouble with the camera. Who likes chicken n waffles anyway? Not many in AZ evidently! |

I bought a dinged up copper pot at a yard sale for 25 cents and scrapped it for $2.25 and I also had bought electrical wire for yard lights for $2 at a yard sale and got $7 scrap out of it.
