| Silver is advancing at a rate over twice as fast as gold. I think it is mostly investors taking advantage of a huge silver to gold ratio difference. But both metals appear to be healthy in their own right. |

there was a supposedly false report that China bought half the IMF's remiaing gold - approx 190 tons. there was a published report, but tehn reuters said it was an error and quoted the author or of the original piece as admitting her source was not official.
when india baought imf gold above $1000 gold soared and silver with it.
i think china will buy this gold but can't officially acknowledge so. |

I think China is still buying treasuries.
For political reasons they are purchasing through Taiwan and London. I don't have a citation but if you can find the charts you'll see that as China's buying slowed both London and Taiwan increased to make up for their lower purchases and then some. It just makes sense that they are still buying but in a less obvious way for political reasons (pressure). |

Because just as US banks used to do with South American loans, If you don't help cover the current deficit, you lose your entire side of it. China's still buying but quietly.IMHO. I think they're slowing, but if they stopped the dollar would drop precipitously and they'd lose half their current "value" overnight.
I cold be wrong, but I don't think this is the point where silver and gold begin their parabolic climb. |
