I went to the bank for my penny runs and asked for 'Big Dollars' and the teller said he just got a stack of them today. Didn't think anything of it until I saw that one had a silver band. So I am thinking cool someone turned in a 40% Ike.
Low and behold it turned out to be a 1922 Peace dollar! He counted the big dollars many times exposing the dollar and making the classic silver clink noise almost giving me a panic attack that he would notice and keep it.
But I caught it. Has anyone else found morgan/peace dollars at a bank?

Whoa! That is amazing, Robarons! Never have I ever bought a Peace or Morgan for face at a bank. I wish I could find one! Anyway, I'm happy for you, because you easily made $12 to $13. Happy Hunting,

I never got one for face but I did get a Morgan and 5 Ike's from a TD bank for free once....I was dumping my coins and the machine jammed, the big dollars were inside causing the jam and the lady just gave them to me.  |

my best find this yr. my Gd was helping me, she was sorting out the pretty pennies(shiney ones) and she said look grampa,a different pretty penny, I didn't pay much attention til i saw the back then i dropped what i was doing to ckeck it out.
