I don't know. That's what people tell me. I don't buy silver eagles anymore. |

They have an offer every month in all of the NRA,s magazines and they are the "offical coin dealer" for the NRA. IMHO, They are the devil! It's not worth all the "offers" that you will get via US Mail to save a couple of dollars on two coins. Their "offers" do not come in plain envelope, they usally come as a nice, large, full color, post card and they scream, "the person that lives at this house collects gold and silver coins". With this offer that you posted, you are looking at two coins maximum. how much are you really going to save as opposed to going to a real dealer? Is it worth it to be on their mailing list and have them sell your info to other companies? When they did 10 - 1/10 ounce GAE offer a few years ago, I thought it was great, UNTILL you try to get off their mailing lists. It took many calls and then finally a certified letter with a copy to my State's Attorney General to accomplish that task. I am still getting offers from other coin brokers that I believe they sold my name and address to. The most recent (last week) from the American Historical Society for SAE's from 1986 - 2010. Their offer was for one per month, for a low price of $59.95 each and get this, they will guarantee that price for one year, isn't that nice of them?
My advice, just say NO! |

Am I missing something? These aren't even great deals, aside from only having to buy 1 or 2, the price is high/average/above average. |

| Agree the deals aren't that great. That sucks Dave that you have to pay sales tax. In some states, numismatics don't get a sales tax. |

who told you there would be no taxes?
Which states don't have any tax on any numismatic coins?
Or no tax on only US numismatic coins?
I know some states wave tax on bullion for purchase of more than $1000. |

| There is no tax in Illinois on us coinage. However they tax everything else. And there is no break in sight. |
