I received a 1963 dime at a gas station today. I could tell it looked funny, and immediately checked the date.

Now I've got the bug. Is dime searching worth it?

I have, but not in the last few weeks, I was doing 1k a week and was avg. about 6 silvas... I was only doing this since I was trying to put a set together...

Nah, it's not worth it.. but we do it anyway.
If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

Worth it as a hobby, but you aren't going to get rich off of it.

I have only ever searched 3 bags, but I averged 7 dimes per bag.

I manage a video rental business, and get to pilfer the coin rolls on a weekly basis. I only usually find 1-2 silver dimes a week, so it's almost painfully slow hoard-building; but I always feel bummed when a week goes by and I don't come across any.
