I just found a 2008 Canadian Nickle, that appears to be in almost mint state, except it has three lines running horizontaly across it. The lines are equal distance and look like a perforated line.
Interesting. I've never seen one like that. Sure looks like it could be a mint error but it could just be damage. Maybe testing for making the nickel divisible, break off a chunk to give 4 cents change? It cost you just 5 cents so worth adding to your oddity collection.
