I Made a new handsorting table out of a 3/4" piece of Maple Plywood and 3 2x4's stood on edge. Then I drilled two holes one for Copper one for Zinc. under each hole is a large tupperware container. when full i dump it into my main buckets. And i slide the 82's off the back (top) into a bucket. Works good.

That's pretty nice. Seems like the holes are a little far apart though. Do you just slide the wheats in with Cu and sort later?

Yea, the holes are a little far apart, but i wanted alot of space for sorting. for wheats and S cents i put those on top. You see the cents on the board? those are Wheats, S cents, and BU older 60's that if find i keep also.

Very nice table, but I see something in that picture that does not belong, can anyone guess what it is?

Hey, that table top sorter is a neat idea! I might be visiting HomeDepot this weekend and making one for me. Thanks for showing a picture of it.

Here is a "guy" that is INTO his hobby. I can greatly appreciate people who take the time and effort to make things that make their life/hobby flow (as I am not one of them).

Just take a door off its hinges somewhere in your house. Drill a couple holes in it... I'm sure the wife wouldn't mind. :)

I'd be careful of the context in which you use that sentence. |
