What do you consider a good price for Morgans, just standard circulated ones? The way silver has been acting, I am looking to buy some over the next couple of weeks.
Locally the dealers here do the really beat up AG/G and culls for $14-$14.95. For VG+ they are going for $15-$17 for common ones and up from there. One local dealer just bought out our entire stock of 1921 Morgans and common VG-EF Peace Dollars for $14.80/each because he is selling these so well for $17/each.
My hobby: collecting real money 1 copper cent or nickel at a time.

I sure made a deal about a week ago I bought 243 for $13 each. Included were three cc morgans I gave $50 each however they were pretty worn. I still made a good deal.
Morgans don't follow the price of silver real close if silver goes down to $11.00 they might come down some but anytime I can buy Morgans for $15.00 or less I do. I see smooth Morgans that I can buy for $14.00 go for $25.00 all the time at auction sales.
COPPER - the "poormans" precious metal!!!
SELLING - $100.00 face copper shipped to you for $189.00 machine rolled or bagged - PM me if your interested.
I find auctions and most estate sales horrible places to buy Morgans - they go for a lot more than even their numismatic value usually. Your best bet is to build up a good reputation with a local dealer.

I agree with you completely on your comment. I have been to many auctions where I see Morgans sell for $25.00 to $30.00 that I can buy from my dealer for $15.00 to $18.00
