1. Greysheet is a sort of accepted "dealer price" for coins. You must be logged in to see this link.
I go by it a lot on SOME coins.

2. NOTE: Greysheet refers to WELL GRADED SITE SEEN. I.e. not some person on Craigs list that may or may not be adept at grading coins. I once bought from a guy on Craigs list that had a coin in a flip graded "AU" and it had a hole in it! :)

3. "BU" rolls are often in the eye of the beholder.

4. If you have a chance to inspect the coins you can see if they are really FULLY RED. That means they are BU. Otherwise, they are not.

5. If all of these are truly graded then $200 is reasonable. But, I sincerely doubt they are graded well.

people on Craig's List tend to over or under price their items. And for coins in general i've never seen a deal that motivated me because the 'deal' the seller was offering was so good. If you can't see the items you're buying on CL, i'd be hesitant to spend so much on them.

However this being said, if they are all truly BU it would be another story.

Selling Copper cents. $0 FV available at 1.4xFV. Also interested in trading for wheat pennies and other coins Please pm me for requests or inquiries.

And that's the very reason CL emphasizes so much that you should deal locally. Or at least part of the reason.

I've gotten some good silver coins on CL, but it was local and I got to see them first.

Are you throwing that out?

CL is definately a buyers beware...I have gotten some great deals on CL but it was in the same city so we met and traded after seeing the items....you didn't mention if you could physically see the rolls...could be someone is selling for someone else or estate...if it is through the mail forget it. If not, check it out thoroughly... if hand wrapped rolls dump them and really look for the BU...take a set of cotton gloves for handling the coins and rolls. If I could do that I would buy at 200 $.

BU...brillant uncirculated...doesn't mean looks new put in roll by hand. They are usually bank wrapped rolls.
