Somebody took the time out to stuff pennies into a dime shotgun roll, then stuff it into a penny shotgun roll...





It wasn't even crimped over. They crimped the penny wrapper over the edge of the dime wrapper.



The roll had 47 coins. All that for 3 cents...

I had one of those a month or two ago. I had to cut the rolls open to get the pennies out. Some people just have too much time on their hands.

Never have seen that. Maybe that's why some banks want the coin loose when you turn them in.

I can understand using a dime roll, I love those for my cents! A nice snug fit! But the amount of time to do what they did is laughable.

You should have kept it intact and sold it on eBay. I bet you would have made your money back and then some :)
